BREAKING: Darryl Preston wins police and crime commissioner election

A swing of 6.5 per cent to Labour was narrowly missed

Darryl Preston remains police and crime commissioner for Cambridgeshire and Peterborough for a second term. 

His victory was announced moments ago at Ross Peers sports centre, Soham, where East Cambridgeshire District Council has again taken responsibility for co-ordinating the results from across the county.
