Plea to find Wisbech man who goes missing after Peterborough hospital appointment
Austin left Peterborough hospital and has not been seen since
Police are appealing for the public’s help in tracing a Wisbech man who has been missing since last Thursday. Austin Wright, 47, went missing after attending a medical appointment at Peterborough City Hospital on Thursday morning (13 June).
It is believed he left on foot before being assessed and has not been seen since.
Officers are becoming increasingly concerned for Austin’s welfare and are appealing for anyone who has seen him to get in touch.
Austin, who lives in Sutton St James, near Wisbech, has short brown hair, is about 5’9” and was believed to be wearing dark grey shorts, dark brown boots, a light brown top and was carrying a white canvas bag. He has a green frog tattoo on his neck.
Detective Sergeant Jenny Blunt said: “Austin was due to receive treatment at hospital following a medical episode but disappeared and we have no sightings of him since.
“I am appealing for anyone who thinks they have seen Austin since late morning on Thursday to get in touch so we can narrow down our search.”
Anyone with information is asked to contact police either via the online reporting form, web chat service or by calling 101.
