Motorist killed in A10 crash at Southery near Downham Market
The driver of the Golf, a man aged in his 20s, died at the scene
A motorist was killed yesterday after a crash on the A10 at Southery near Downham Market. Police are appealing for witnesses following the crash.
The incident occurred at 9.08pm yesterday (Wednesday 24 April) when a black VW Transporter collided with a black VW Golf at the junction for the B1160.
The road was closed whilst emergency services attended the scene including ambulance, air ambulance and fire.
“Sadly, the driver of the Golf, a man aged in his 20s, died at the scene,” said a spokesperson for Norfolk Police.
“The driver of the transporter, a man aged in his 60s, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
“Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the collision or who may have any relevant dashcam footage.
“Anyone with any information is asked to get in touch via the following channels quoting reference NC-24042024-372”.
