Hilton Park care home, in Bottisham, was full of animal mischief when the Alfie the Therapy Horse and his friend Kristof the Rabbit came to visit the home.

Residents at Hilton Park were pleasantly surprised to see the horse and rabbit roaming around their home as Pet Therapy paid a visit.

General Manager Geanina Tinca said: “Our residents have really enjoyed their unusual visitors today.

“We knew that having the animals here would be a bit of fun for all our residents, especially as some find it difficult to go on many outings in our minibus.

She added: “No words can describe the positive effect that the visiting animals had on our residents this afternoon.

“Residents enjoyed stroking them it brought back lots of memories to them and brought tears to us hearing such heartfelt comments.

“You can see from the smiles on our residents faces that the interaction brought plenty of joy.
