Thirty six awards were presented at the annual College of West Anglia (CWA) staff awards.

Staff were recognised for outstanding work that included teaching excellence and management.

And for some there was acknowledgement of their service to the college and were presented with lifetime achievement awards.

Joint winners of the Employee of the Year award were Domminie Wright and Kelly-Ann Neale, lecturers in Health and Social Care.

They both took home a second award for Excellence in Teaching and Learning.

Domminie Wright, Lecturer in Health and Social Care at CWA said; “I was delighted to receive the award for employee of the year, it is certainly nice to have the success of the T-levels acknowledged.

“Kelly and I have found this an exciting challenge and are passionate about delivering a new programme of study in the Health and Social Care department, which focuses specifically on supporting students to progress onto health professions.”

Kelly-Ann Neale, Lecturer in Health and Social Care at CWA said; “I was thrilled to receive the employee of the year award alongside my colleague Domminie.

“I am always proud to work for The College of West Anglia and look forward to developing the T-Level Health course further to bring even more opportunities for young people in our local community.’
