Police – and their dog – seize £1,400 and large bags of cannabis in Fens raid
£1,400 was bagged up and tagged during an unannounced ‘visit’ by Cambridgeshire police to a house in March.

Police found plenty of evidence of drug dealing to justify their raid.
Although no one was at home at the North Street, March, house police were soon able to ‘sniff out’ some drugs thanks to PD Walton, an experienced police dog, they took with them.
Police had obtained a warrant to search, and their haul included scales, ‘deal bags’, the £1,400 in cash and multiple large bags of cannabis.
The evidence will now form part of a possible prosecution.
Police revealed that inquiries led the team to a second address in Ellingham Avenue, March.
“A 36-year-old man was arrested after officers located further cannabis, as well as the plants growing throughout the house,” said a police statement.
“A 25-year-old man was arrested the following day in connection with the finds.”
Both men have been bailed to return to a police station next month “while we carry out further enquiries”.
Cambridgeshire police said tackling drug dealing is a priority for the force.
“, you can help us by reporting information or concerns via our dedicated drugs information webpage https://orlo.uk/34KC6 ,” said the statement
