A woman motorist has died six days after walking away seemingly uninjured after she ploughed through a fence and into a wall.

Police were called to reports of the crash, which involved a silver Vauxhall Astra, in Croft Holme Lane, at about 5am on Friday, 4 August.

“No other vehicles are believed to have been involved.
